City Tour

Each city in every state has their own feel, their own ambiance. A City Tour is the best way to find out quickly what an area is all about. On the tour you will visit historic buildings dating back to the beginnings of Arizona and learn what the real west was like.

Phoenix/Scottsdale Option: You will see the influences of our Hispanic neighbors, visit beautiful residential neighborhoods and learn how people have adapted to the dry, arid climate on a daily basis. You will be familiarized with the layout of our city and given brief introductions to museums, art galleries, points of interest and shopping centers. The knowledgeable guides can focus on the guests’ special interests and are equipped to answer all questions. Our guides will narrate while pointing out sites such as the State Capitol, Phoenix Downtown, Phoenix Art Museum, Heard Museum, Scottsdale Shopping, Resorts, Stadiums, Casinos and Residential Neighborhoods.

Carefree/Cave Creek Option: The first stop is el Pedregal, “A Place with Many Stones”. This grand festival-style marketplace combines shopping, dining and posh galleries in a colorful atmosphere. Old Moroccan architecture and a dramatic sub-Saharan tent held aloft by 60-foot hand-carved pine poles reflect the colors of the blooming desert. Next, you’ll take the scenic route through the town of Cave Creek, which offers galleries, more shopping and legendary restaurants like “The Satisfied Frog” and “The Horny Toad”. A shopping stop at Frontier Town, home to over 20 shops and boutiques, completes this half-day tour. Premier Sports Travel Southwest Conference Planners, Inc.
