RUSSIAN INFLUENCE IN HELSINKI. CITY TOUR WITH LUNCH (approx 5 hours)

During this tour, your guide will tell more about Russian influence to Finland and Helsinki, ending with Russian lunch. You will see all the main sights in Helsinki city center; sights in the Mannerheim Street, Railway Station, the Presidential Palace, the Uspenski Cathedral, Senate Square; University and Lutheran Cathedral all displaying neo-classical architecture of the 1840´s, then we continue walking from Senate’s Square to the colourful Market Square by the sea in the South Harbour.

From there we continue to the magnificent Temppeliaukio Church (pictured above), carved into solid rock (if available, stop 15min). After visiting Temppeliaukio Church, we’ll continue towards Sibelius Monument (also stop for 15min). After visiting Sibelius Monument transfer to restaurant for lunch.

Enjoy a delicious three-course lunch at a Russian restaurant and listen to a live troubadour singing for the group. After lunch you will be transferred back to the hotel.
