British Open Travel Package

The 2012 British Open (or just The Open to the locals) is once again set to be played at the oldest golf course on the globe, Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club in England. You’ve surely seen the historic Open on TV, and now you can be there in person with a British Open golf travel package from Premiere Sports Travel. The history of the Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club at The Open Championship dates back to 1926 when the legendary Bobby Jones won his first of two consecutive British Open Championships. In 2012, it will mark the first time that consecutive Opens will be contested outside of Scotland since 1952 (or ever in England). One thing that is for sure is that it truly is a remarkable place to witness a golf tournament, both because of the history of the site and the thrill of watching golfers like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and Padraig Harrington.

If you want to attend the only of the four Majors played outside of the U.S., then it makes a lot of sense to get one of Premiere Sports Travel’s British Open packages. It can be time-consuming and expensive to try to buy British Open tickets on your own and then make arrangements for hotel reservations and ground transportation. But with a British Open travel package you get all that and a whole lot more, including the option to play a round of golf at one of the great courses in the area, dinner at a hotel restaurant and train transfers to and from the course. Whether this will be your first British Open or if you go every year, you simply don’t want to miss this event when it’s atRoyal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club. Because if you do, you’ll have to wait another five years until it returns.

And don’t forget that Premiere Sports Travel also has packages for the three other Majors and the biggest international event of the year with Ryder Cup packages, Masters packages, U.S. Open Golf packages and PGA Championship packages.
