Ford 400 Travel Package
The Daytona 500 might be the Super Bowl of NASCAR racing, but it is often the Ford 400 at Homestead Miami Speedway that determines the champion. As the last leg of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, the Ford 400 is often the most important race of year. Of course that means that Ford 400 tickets are almost impossible to find, unless you get them as part of one of our Ford 400 travel packages. Hempstead Miami only has a seating capacity of about 65,000, so there are never enough seats to meet the demand for this race.
When the Chase for the Sprint Cup (at the time the Nextel Cup) started back in ’04, some fans and drivers were not really convinced the new concept was a good idea. But after that first season, and the thrilling way in which the Ford 400 capped the season with Kurt Busch edging out Jimmie Johnson by just eight points, nearly everyone agrees it’s been a huge boost for NASCAR. And even though Jimmie Johnson lost out that first year, he has stormed back to win the last four Sprint Cup titles. Will he be able to win a fifth? That remains to be seen, and Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin might have something to say about that.
