Pocono 500 Packages

Long known as the Pocono 500, the first of two NASCAR Sprint Cup races at Pocono Raceway is now called the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 Presented by Target. That’s quite a mouthful, so no one will blame you for still referring to it by its old name. Part of what makes Pocono unique is the 3-turn configuration of the 2.5-mile track. Over the years no single driver has been able to dominate at Pocono, as is the case at some tracks, so that makes it very hard to predict the winner. Denny Hamlin has managed to win twice in recent years, and other recent winners include Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards. In the early years of this race it was dominated by some of the sport’s legends, like Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough and Bill Elliot.
