Once again, “The Magic Mile” will serve as the second stop in the gripping 10-race postseason. Since the Chase’s inception in ‘04, New Hampshire has played a critical role in determining the championship, and with a SYLVANIA 300 travel package from Premiere Sports Travel, you can make sure you won’t miss a moment of the thrilling action at New England’s largest sporting and entertainment facility.
When that first Chase for the Sprint Cup kicked off in ’04, no one was really sure how the new format would play out and there was some question about whether it was the right move for NASCAR. But the first race proved that the concept was solid, as that year’s SYLVANIA 300 featured plenty of aggressive driving (including a two-lap penalty for Jeff Gordon) before Kurt Busch came out on top. Busch went on to win the Chase for the Sprint Cup (or Nextel Cup at that time) and that proved the value of getting a good start at New Hampshire.
