The Indianapolis Colts make a habit out of winning. With Peyton Manning pulling the trigger the Colts have been one of the best teams in the NFL for as long as many fans remember. Manning is a fixture in the Pro Bowl, along with wide receiver Reggie Wayne. In 2006 the combination resulted in the Colts first Super Bowl Championship since coming to Indianapolis.

It’s often been said that repeating in the Super Bowl is even tougher than winning the first one and for Indianapolis that was true in 2007. Though the Colts were able to once again claim an AFC South crown by winning 13 games in the regular season, the loss of Marvin Harrison due to injury haunted them all season. Running into a red hot San Diego Chargers team in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, the Colts couldn’t muster enough offense in the final minutes of the game and fell 28-24. It was a bitter disappointment for NFL fans eager to see an AFC Championship re-match between Indianapolis and the New England Patriots.

But Manning and the Colts have been there before. They’re already tooling up for another run at the Super Bowl and Lucas Oil Stadium is sure to sell out well in advance. Be there when the Colts take on the AFC South and the rest of the NFL during the regular season and well into the playoffs with a little help from Sportstravel.com.
