When you think Tennessee Titans you think Vince Young. When you think Vince Young you have to think of his remarkable performance in the BCS Championship Game. But Young’s performance as an NFL quarterback has been just as remarkable. Consider his 2006 rookie season. Vince Young took over from Kerry Collins in the fourth game when the Titans were 0-4. By the end of the season Tennessee narrowly missed the playoffs with an 8-8 record, having strung together six consecutive wins at one point to stay in the playoff hunt. In 2007 the Titans were 10-6 and earned a Wild Card spot. Despite missing two games, Young passed for over 2,500 yards and nine touchdowns, adding another 350 yards and three scores with his feet.

While the Indianapolis Colts have dominated the AFC South, the Tennessee Titans now have their own dynamic young quarterback. Many feel it is just a matter of time until he leads them to a Super Bowl. To do that, he’ll have to take on not only Indianapolis but the Jacksonville Jaguars, another rising young AFC team. Somehow when Vince Young is on the field though, fans are ready to believe that anything can happen.
