Citrus Bowl

Late in the year college football fans are looking for a break from the weather but don’t want to give up their chance to catch the post-season fun. Chances are those fans will be looking to the Citrus Bowl to give them what they’re looking for. Located in the vacation paradise of Orlando, with Disney World and all the attractions of Florida, the Citrus Bowl is also the home of some of college football’s premiere events. Hosting both the Capital One Bowl and the Champion Sports Bowl, this venue is the ideal place to enjoy the bowl season while dressed in shirt sleeves and basking in the sun.

Big 10 fans and SEC fans will be very familiar with the Citrus Bowl. The Capital One Bowl makes their selections soon after the BCS lineup is set. That means teams like Ohio State and the Penn State Nittany Lions find their way to Orlando. In 2004 the LSU Tigers and Iowa put on a show in the Capital One Bowl, with Iowa prevailing 30-25 over the Tigers. Prefer the ACC? Head to the Citrus Bowl for the Champs Sports Bowl where the best teams in the ACC will go head to head with Big 10 opponents.
