U.S. Cellular Field has slowly but surely won the hearts of Chicago White Sox loyalists. It’s not hard to understand that after 80 years in Comiskey Park some fans had a hard time adjusting to the new stadium. For awhile the new stadium even carried the old name, being called New Comiskey Park. Now the White Sox and their fans have settled in, U.S. Cellular, or “The Cell” as its becoming known, is proving to be a good place to enjoy the excitement of the MLB.

To make it easy U.S. Cellular Field was built right next to the old Comiskey Park. Making sure fans knew they were watching the White Sox the team still uses the fireworks display for home runs and sweating fans can still take a cooling shower in the outfield. Take a walk through the stands and you’ll see two blue seats amid a sea of green. These mark the spot where Paul Konerko hit a Grand Slam and Scott Posednik hit his famous home run of the 2005 World Series. So head on out to the newest ballpark in Chicago. Whether it’s for a White Sox regular season game or the MLB All Star Game, you’ll find a lot to like about U.S. Cellular Field.
